Itinerary

Starts At: Chandigarh | Ends At: Shimla
Arrive at Chandigarh railway station/airport and enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to Shimla. Check in and unwind with comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Shimla:
Once known as the Summer Capital of the British Raj and now the capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla remains one of India’s most beloved hill stations. Perched at an altitude of 2,200 meters, it captivates visitors with its old-world charm, colonial-era architecture, and the lively Mall Road and Ridge—dotted with quaint shops, cosy cafés, and vibrant restaurants, making it a perfect escape for travellers seeking both
nostalgia and natural beauty.

Starts At: Shimla | Ends At: Sangla
After breakfast, visit the ancient Kamru Fort and the Kamakhya Devi Temple, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. Later, drive to Chitkul — the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route — and enjoy a peaceful walk through apple orchards and along the Baspa River. Return to Sangla for dinner and overnight stay.
Kamru Fort:
An ancient wooden fort perched on a hilltop overlooking Sangla Valley, Kamru Fort is steeped in history and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Kamakhya Devi Temple:
Located within Kamru Fort, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya Devi, believed to have been brought from Assam. It is a sacred site reflecting the local religious traditions and culture.
Chitkul Village:
The last inhabited village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route, Chitkul is famous for its pristine beauty, apple orchards, traditional wooden houses, and clear glacial streams, making it a peaceful Himalayan retreat.

Starts At: Sangla | Ends At: Kalpa
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kalpa, the scenic district headquarters of Kinnaur, known for its stunning views of Jorkanden and Kinner Kailash peaks. After lunch and rest, visit the Buddhist Gompa Hu Bu Lan Kar before dinner and overnight stay.
Kalpa Village: A serene and traditional Himalayan village, Kalpa offers stunning views of the snow- capped ranges and retains its centuries-old charm. Once called "Chini," it was the regional capital during colonial times. The architecture, apple orchards, and traditional lifestyle reflect the unique culture of the Kinnauri people.
Jorkanden & Kinner Kailash Peaks: Towering above Kalpa, Jorkanden (6,473 m) is the highest peak in the Kinner Kailash range. The Kinner Kailash Peak is considered sacred by Hindus and is believed to be one of the mythological abodes of Lord Shiva. A unique rock formation resembling a Shivling (79 feet tall) stands here, dramatically changing colors throughout the day, depending on sunlight and weather conditions—an awe-inspiring sight clearly visible on a clear day.
Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery: This ancient Buddhist monastery was founded by Rinchensang-po, a great translator and Buddhist scholar. Nestled in Kalpa, it is a peaceful place for reflection and prayer. With its prayer wheels, intricate murals, and scenic backdrop of mountains, it offers a quiet spiritual escape and insight into the region’s deep Buddhist roots.

Start the day with a sunrise view over Kinner Kailash and visit the Narayan Nagini Temple. After lunch, walk to Roghi Village and stop at Suicide Point for stunning valley views. overnight stay at Hotel.

Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel and unwind for the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay, preparing for the next day’s adventures.

Starts At: Shimla | Ends At: Chandigarh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Chandigarh. Enjoy a comfortable drive through the scenic route as you head towards the city. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward travel.

The Tour Schedule may change depends on the climate & road conditions. Team Yathri holidays reserve the right to alter, amend or even cancel any tour depending on the exigencies of the occasion.

A cancellation charge of INR 3000 will be applicable for the passengers cancelling before 30 days of departure. A cancellation charge of 30% of the tour cost will be applicable for the
passengers cancelling before 15 days of departure and 100 % of the tour cost will be levied as the cancellation charge for the cancellations within 15 days prior to the departure.
Flight & Train cancellation charges will be actual as per the policy.

A Passenger below 12 years is considered as child and above 12 years as an adult.
Check in time in hotel is 1400 hours and check out is 1200 hours.
Once an airline ticket is issued, penalty charges will be applicable for date change.
There are coach restrictions in some cities, in such situation the tour manager and the drive will do their best to drop you as near to the monuments as possible.
No refund can be entertained for any expenses incurred for the passengers due to circumstances beyond our control such as flight cancellation, airport closure, delays, accident of any nature, bad weather, natural calamities, medical evacuation, supplier policies, visa rejection and visa delay etc.
The company reserves the right to postpone or cancel any of the tours advertised, without assigning any reason. In this case, amount paid by the passengers will be refunded in full and no compensation claim will be entertained.
Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the company reserves the right to change / modify/ vary and alter the tour itinerary.
In such changes, compensations or claim for refund by the passengers will not be entertained by the company for limitation and also for the non- availability of certain services with entry tickets, restaurants, sightseeing, shopping etc. even though included in tour itinerary.
For Single Passenger travelling, have to share a room either on twin or triple sharing basis depending on the availability. If we do not have another single passenger to share the room, Single Supplement with additional cost is applicable.
The tariff of the tour quotation is calculated based on the rates prevailing at the time of quoting it. Team Yathri Holidays reserves the right to modify the tariff in the event of any change in the said rates before the date of departure.
Tour cost is based on minimum 20 passengers (Adults) travelling together in the group. If there is a drastic fall in the number, then the offered tour cost, meal plan, vehicle and other services may change accordingly and the difference amount has to be borne by the passenger. Company takes care to select hotels and book the same on behalf of tourists at convenient locations subject to availability. In case of non-availability of rooms in same hotel, company has the right to split the accommodation in different hotels.
Hotel accommodation is generally provided on Twin sharing basis in standard rooms and the third bed is often a roll-away mattress put in a twin-bedded room. Air-conditioning, central heating and other facilities are provided by the hotels depending upon various factor including weather / climatic conditions, local laws etc.
As a Travel House / Tour Operator, the company does not have any control over Airlines, Coach Companies, Shipping Companies, Hotels, Local Transport or any other facilities provided by the third parties. The company is not responsible for the delays or deficiencies in the services provided by outside agencies. Also please note that the company does not have any control on schedules of opening and closing timings of the tourist attractions.In computerized reservation system of Airlines seats once reserved cannot be changed. Tour participants will have to travel by the same seat provided by Airline.
Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. Team Yathri Holidays will not be held responsibility for the same. There are no refunds for any services, i.e., meals, sightseeing’s, flight delay or cancellation of flight etc. not utilized on the tour.
The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, natural calamity, delay, breakdown or irregularity that may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement. (Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause, whatsoever, and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers).
Any disputes arising in respect of the tour shall be subject to Ernakulum Jurisdiction.
Any tour package cancelled under Force majeure situation ie; tour packages cancelled or unable to operate on account of reasons beyond our control (Eg: Pandemic situation), the amount received from the customers after deducting all expenses which are not recoverable in any manner will be kept in customer credit (Credit Shell) and provide the facility to utilize the same credit note value towards booking of future tour packages.
Airlines are solely responsible for overbooking of seats, failure to provide meal as required by the guest, quality of meal, loss of baggage, Allotment of seats for group booking etc.
