Overview
The Wangala Festival, celebrated by the Garo tribe in Meghalaya, India, is a vibrant cultural extravaganza that beckons travelers with its colorful traditions and rich heritage. Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati airport, receive, and proceed to Manas National Park, Evening Bonfire at your resort. Overnight stay at Manas
Post breakfast walk through the Boro tribal villages to witness their typical
village lifestyle, Boro is one the prime tribal communities of Assam, Enjoy traditional Lunch at the village, and Later explore the national park in the Bansbari range with naturalists. Overnight stay at Manas.
Post breakfast drive to Tura (6hrs) - en route visit Rangsapara (2hrs from Bongaigaon) - the cleanest village of Assam - Inhabitant of Garo tribes which are mostly farmers and grow vegetables, Bananas, Paddy, and Rubber. The village is free from Alcohol, Drugs, and the use of plastic. Guests can have a cup of Tea in the local house; a packed lunch will be provided in a scenic location. Proceed to continue to Tura, en route they can visit each lake at Anogre where boating facilities are also available. Overnight stay at Tura.
Drive to Dabagrey to see the traditional Garo village. Afternoon drive back to Rongram to witness the Wanagal Festival – also called the hundred drum festival is celebrated every year by the Garo people one of the primary and harvest festivals in Garo Hills, Enjoy Lunch at the festival Ground. One can have lunch and taste traditional food at the Venue. Overnight stay at Tura.
Morning drive to Garubada (1Hr) to visit the weaving village – where almost every household engages in weaving which is their prime profession for their livelihood, later half visit the wangala festival ground. Overnight stay at Tura
Drive to Guwahati (6hrs) - Route boat ride to see river dolphins at Kulsi River, You’ll enjoy a Picnic lunch on the bank of the river, you can also taste the freshwater river fish. Shopping and dinner at an ethnic restaurant. OverNight stay at Guwahati.
Drive to Guwahati Airport for onward destination. The tour concludes on arrival at the Guwahati Airport.

A cancellation charge of INR 2000 will be applicable for passengers canceling before 30 days of departure. A cancellation charge of 30% of the tour cost will be applicable for the passengers canceling before 15 days of departure and 100 % of the tour cost will be levied as the cancellation charge for the cancellations within 15 days prior to the departure.
The above cancellation charges are for land costs only. Cancellation policies for flights, trains, or ships will be separate and additional as per the carrier's policy.
- Booking: For confirming the seats, 50% of the total cost has to be remitted while booking & the balance amount has to be settled 5 days before the tour departure.
- Single Occupancy Charges: 50% addition from the Tour cost.
- All the passengers are requested to hand Govt. government-approved photo identity while confirming the package.
- Tour Timings/Itinerary/Tour-Fare are subject to change. The company reserves the right to alter, amend, or even cancel any tour depending on the exigencies of the occasion.
