Overview
Japan, is the most beautiful country in the world and we are visiting Japan in spring, the best time of Cherry blossom (Sakura) season, when there is little rainfall, skies are clear, and temperatures are mild. What’s more, the delicate cherry blossom of spring is visually stunning. The most famous and popular time to visit Japan is during spring to see the magical sight of the cherry blossoms in bloom. The trees start to blossom in the warmer south in late March and peak about a week after blooming. Within two weeks the blossoms start to fall from the trees. Itinerary
- 2030 Hrs.: (06 April 2023) Assemble at Kochi International Airport.
2100 Hrs.: Check-in starts for Malaysian Airlines. (MH109) 0010 Hrs.: (07 Apr 2023)
Flight departs to Kuala Lumpur at 0655 Hrs.: Arrive at Kuala Lumpur.
0950 Hrs.: Transit & departing to Tokyo (MH70).
1805 Hrs. Arrive at Narita International Airport, Tokyo. - After immigration transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Meal (Breakfast and lunch at the flight, Dinner at the restaurant)
- After Breakfast proceed to the Guided tour. Visit: Tokyo Tower - Enjoy a panoramic view of the famous Tokyo skyline from the main observation platform; Imperial Palace East Garden - Enjoy a pleasant walk in the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, of historical interest and scenic beauty. Continue to Sensoji, or Asakusa Kannon, dedicated to Kannon, the Buddhist deity of mercy and compassion. Sensoji is one of the most popular sites in Tokyo, yet it's delightfully serene. Smoke from its incense cauldron is said to be beneficial to health, especially the part of the body onto which it is rubbed, and you will see many people doing this before going to
pray. Later, proceed or Nakamise shopping street, which stretches over approximately 250 meters from the main grounds of Sensoji Temple. It is lined with more than 50 shops, which offer local specialties and souvenirs. Tokyo Skytree (Photo Stop). Evening visit Sumida River Cruise ride for 30 minutes in Tokyo Bay. Free time at Odiaba. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
- After Breakfast proceed to Cherry blossom spots. The tour starts with a visit to Gotokuji Temple, located in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo, is a Buddhist temple that is said to be the birthplace of the Maneki-Neko, or “luck-inviting cat”; Meiji Shrine - The finest example of Japanese shrine architecture nestled in a peaceful, picturesque Yoyogi park contains over 120,000 trees; and Shinjuku Gyoen (Tokyo) Open from 0900 to 1730 Hrs. This park features lush lawns and over a thousand cherry trees. The area is unique in that it is home to both late and early-blooming trees. This makes it a prime spot for visitors who arrive a week too early or too late for the main Sakura Matsuri festival. Located in the heart of the city, Tokyo’s high-rise buildings provide a startling contrast to the park’s peaceful natural surroundings. In route visit the famous Shibuya Crossing. Evening free time at Shinjuku. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
- Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed on a guided tour to Mt. Fuji, an almost perfectly conical volcano that is recognized around the world as a symbol of Japan. It stands over 12,000 feet high and is beautifully snow-capped in winter. Drive to the 5th station, where you'll enjoy gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. Continue to Hakone, a hot springs resort town located in the fuji. Later we will visit Owakudani and then enjoy the Pirate Hakone Cruise. Evening transfer to Odawara station for Bullet train to Hiroshima. Overnight stay at Hiroshima.
- After Breakfast at the Hotel, check out from the hotel. Later board the ferry to Miyajima Island. It is most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on the water. Later visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park commonly called the Atomic Bomb Dome or Genbaku Dmu, in Hiroshima, is part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Transfer to Hiroshima Station and Board in Bullet Train to Osaka. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Osaka.
- Post breakfast leave for Kyoto. Upon arrival tour of Philosopher’s Path. The Philosopher’s Path is a quaint stone path that takes you through the north of Kyoto’s Higashiyama district. The walkway follows a canal which is lined by hundreds of cherry trees showcasing vibrant shades of pink, red, and white. The 2- 2-kilometer path was the place where Nishida Kitaro, one of Japan’s most famous philosophers, used to walk and practice meditation. The Philosopher’s Path runs between Ginkakuji and the neighborhood of Nanzenji and takes around 30 minutes to walk. The closest subway station is Keage which is 1km away. If you want to start at the south of the path, get off at Miyanomaecho. Later in the day visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns, and the Golden Pavilion, a gold-leaf covered structure that houses sacred relics of Buddha. Take a stroll through the Kyoto Imperial Palace, and later watch traditional Japanese artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Centre. Overnight stay at Osaka.
- After breakfast, meet the guide and depart to Nara by Bus. In Nara, visit Todaiji Temple, the world's largest wooden structure and home of the Great Buddha, and Mingle with the deer at Nara Park. Afternoon, return to Osaka. Upon arrival tour of Osaka Castle & garden. Osaka is considered Japan's spiritual heartland. The site of
one of the earliest capitals of the country, it remains a vital center for trade and entrepreneurial culture. Visit Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous castles, which played a major role in the unification of the country during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi- Momoyama period. The castle is situated on a plot of land roughly one-kilometer square and is a popular spot during festival seasons, especially when the cherry blossoms bloom and the sprawling castle grounds are covered with food vendors and taiko drummers. Continue to Dotonboroi Street, a former pleasure district now famous for its theatres, shops, and restaurants and the colorful neon and mechanized signs, including snack/candy manufacturer Glico's giant electronic display of a runner crossing the finish line. Enjoy strolling the long street and take advantage of the opportunity to shop for last-minute souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Osaka.
- After breakfast, transfer to the Kansai International Airport, Osaka. 0955 Hrs. Malaysian Airlines

1545 Hrs.: Arrive at Kuala Lumpur.

- Extra cost incurred due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any Individual unforeseen cost incurring incidence.
- Any private transfers taken to move from one place to another instead of coach.
- Any add-on sightseeing/ sightseeing done twice /activities along with transfers other than mentioned in the tour program and anything not specifically mentioned in Tour Cost inclusions.
- TCS (Tax Collected at Source), Finance Act 2020 has inserted a new sub-section (1G) in TCS (Tax Collected at Source) under Section 206C of the Income Tax Act, 1961 to collect tax out of foreign remittance transactions under Liberalized Remittance Scheme [LRS] as well as the amount received from the buyer by a seller for sale of an ‘Overseas Tour Program Package’ w.e.f. October 1, 2020.
- As per RBI guidelines an additional 5% TCS on invoice value is applicable for those passengers having PAN (Permanent Account Number) or 10% TCS is applicable for those passengers who do not
have PAN. - Cost of RT-PCR test if required in Japan
A cancellation charge of 50% of the tour cost will be applicable for the passengers canceling before 15 days of departure and 100 % of the tour cost will be levied as the cancellation charge for the cancellations within 15 days before the departure.
The above cancellation charges are for land costs only. Cancellation policies for flights, trains, or ships will be separate and additional as per the carrier's policy.
- Booking: For confirming the seats, Rs.50,000/- per person has to be remitted while booking & and the balance amount has to be settled 15 days before the tour departure.
- All the passengers are requested to hand over a Government-approved photo identity while confirming the package.
- Tour Timings/Itinerary/Tour-Fare are subject to change.
- Yathri Tours & Travels reserves the right to alter, amend, or even cancel any tour depending on the exigencies of the occasion.
