Itinerary

DAY:01 : Gorakhpur – Lumbini                Meal Plan : Dinner

On arrival at Gorakhpur Railway station / Airport (before 04.00 pm), pick up & transfer to Hotel at Lumbini.    Overnight stay Lumbini

DAY:02 : Lumbini– Pokhra                        Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Morning proceed to visit Buddhist Temple, Ashoka Pillar,  Bodhi Tree & Drive to Pokhara. Evening Visit Fewa Lake.   Overnight stay Pokhra.

DAY:03 : Pokhra visit                                Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Morning proceeds to Sarangkhot for viewing sunrise, Pokhara Sight Seeing covering Seti River, Mahendra Cave, Vindyavasini Temple, Mahendra Pool and Davis Fall. Overnight stay Pokhra.

DAY:04 : Pokhra – Kathmandu             Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Proceed to Kathmandu. Check in to hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay Kathmandu.

DAY:05 : Kathmandu visit                      Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Kathmandu Sight Seeing covering Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Jal Narayan, Boudhanath Stupa, Bhaktapur   Overnight stay Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is the historic seat of royalty built between the 12th and 18th centuries. The Durbar Square is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Monument listed in 1979 which epitomizes the social, religious and cultural life of the Nepalese people. It is the place where the kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronation solemnized. There is also the Numismatic Museum and Tribhuvan Museum inside the place building.

Swayambhu Nath Stupa: Swayambhu Nath Stupa is 3km west of Kathmandu city situated on a hillock about 77m above the sea level of the Kathmandu valley. It is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and the best place to observe religious harmony in Nepal. Both Hindus and Buddhists worship here. It is said to be 2,000years old. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979.

Pashupati Nath Temple: It is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage spot situated 5km east of Kathmandu, the temple of Lord Shiva. The richly ornamented pagoda houses, the scared linga, or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva fascinates everyone. There are also small temples dedicated to other deities. The temple was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. Near the temple at the edge of Bagmati River lies "Arya Ghat" where cremation is performed. Colourful market surrounds the temple.

Boudha Nath Stupa: It is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and lies 8km east of Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the South Asia, looming 36m overhead. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979 is also known as Khasti. The name ‘Boudhanath’ is composed of two different words Boudha and Nath. Boudha means wisdom and the suffix Nath stands for Lord. Thus Boudhanath means the Lord of wisdom. In this area there are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries located at the base.

Bhaktapur : The hamlet of Bhaktapur in the east of Kathmandu valley is cultural gem of Nepal. The town is known for its tremendous culture, graceful art and self-sufficient medieval lifestyle. The town of terracotta commonly exhibits fine wood carving in its overhanging balconies, doors and struts supporting projected roofs. Sunken water spouts found in ample displays exquisite stone sculptures. Communities inside the protective Mandala of Asta Matrika (group of eight mother goddesses), socialize in their pavilions, dry crops, give bath and massage in their courtyards and celebrate at local shrines in their traditional attire. No wonder Bhaktapur is a living museum.

DAY:06 : : Kathmandu – Chitwan                Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

*Everest experience (01 hrs mountain flight -06.30 am -07.30 am) can be arranged on pre-request. Cost around INR 7,000/-. Flight operation depends to weather conditions.

Proceed to Chitwan via Manakamana Temple (cable Car ride). The road snakes through the scenic mountainous region with Himalayan backdrop to Chitwan  Chitwan National park is the last undisturbed vestiges of gangetic plains. Check in the Safari Lodge in the vicinity of Chitwan National Park . After dinner, go for Tharu cultural show.Overnight stay Chitwan.

DAY:07 : Chitwan –   Gorakhpur              Meal Plan : Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Early morning enjoy the Jeep Safari/Elephant ride. After breakfast to Gorakhpur.   Darshan at Gorokhnath Temple by evening... Overnight stay Gorakhpur.

DAY:08 : Departure                        

Drp at Airport/Railway station in time.

  • Any increase in the fuel surcharge or any kind of taxes levied by respective governments.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blocks etc…

  • Hotel check -in /check out time is 12.00 noon.Pre/Post check in requires one day extra payment.
  • In case of child fare ticket, no extra bed will be provided and they have to share with the parent's room.
  • Tour Timings/Itinerary/Tour-Fare are subject to change. Yathri Tours & Travels reserves the right to alter, amend or even cancel any tour depending on the exigencies of the occasion, without assigning any reason.
  • Jurisdiction: Place of Arbitration/Jurisdiction will be Ernakulam.

An advance payment is required to secure confirmed booking of your program and balance payment in on commencement of Journey.
